Born in Youngstown Ohio, Kim came to Huntsville as a student at Alabama A&M University
where she received a BS in Speech Pathology. She later received a MS in Management from
Florida Institute of Technology. She began a Civil Service career at Redstone Arsenal in 1984
and served as an Acquisition Manager and Contracting Officer supporting and managing
complex weapon systems acquisitions.
Since her retirement in 2017 she has been heavily involved in real estate as an investor in
residential properties. She and her husband Christopher recently started a nonprofit
organization to provide low-income housing in Huntsville and Madison County.
She is a member of “100+ Women Who Care of Madison County, and a Cohort X graduate of
“Diversity Leadership Colloquium (DLC) of Huntsville”, where she serves as the new Alumni
Association President committed to mentoring and supporting others both personally and
professionally.
Kim loves to build new relationships and her real estate career affords her the opportunity to
incorporate her love for families with her passion for helping others build a strong legacy in their
communities. Her motto is High Quality, Higher Expectations, Highest Praise!
