DLC offers aspiring and experienced leaders with opportunities to benefit from qualified and seasoned trainers, scholars, and business professionals who share and discuss research and best practices regarding obtaining excellence through diversity, equity, and inclusion.
DLC is designed for individuals interested in gaining access to networks, mentors, and sponsors that have traditionally not been available to diverse members of the broader community.
Program Details
DLC is a 12 week colloquia of specialized training, which is held twice a year. Each plenary session is approximately 2.5 to 3 hours in length, coupled with an independent research venture and a community service project. The plenary days are Tuesday evenings from 6:00pm to 8:30pm. In order to meet the graduation requirements, each enrollee must acquire 80% attendance and complete all research and community service projects.

Education
Cohort members have the opportunity to connect with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to increase their knowledge and perspective on diversity, equity, and inclusion.

DLC provides a unique opportunity to bond with like minded professionals from the Tennessee Valley and surrounding areas.
Personal Development
The program includes leadership training in various areas, but specified in DE&I.
Qualifications
Qualified applicants need to have shown leadership and commitment in a professional capacity and have a vested interest in diversity, equity, and inclusion. Each cohort is limited to 24 participants, and selection to participate in the program is dependent upon the submitted applications.
Tuition
Tuition for the program is $995, which is due one (1) week prior to the start of each cohort.
